Watercolor on Rospina paper

“This series explores growth not as a natural depiction, but as a layered and linear process. Each tree is formed through accumulation, repetition, and variation—standing still, yet remaining internally restless and alive.”
“This series consists of small watercolor works depicting trees, not as direct representations of nature, but as explorations of growth as a process. The tree form is reduced to a compact vertical structure, while branches transform into intertwined lines that suggest movement, repetition, and accumulation.
In each piece, the trunk functions as a stable and quiet element, while above it a controlled restlessness unfolds. This tension between stability and disorder gives the forms a sense of vitality, as if growth continues even in stillness.
Working with watercolor on Rospina paper allows transparency, soft edges, and layered color interactions to remain visible. The variations of green are not intended to describe specific plants, but to construct a quality of life—one that is felt rather than observed.
Rather than treating the tree as a subject, this series approaches it as a structure—oscillating between order and chaos, stillness and movement.”
